Tiger's mixed media paintings begin with her reworking of the Polaroid emulsions of her earlier fashion and beauty photographs. Ultimately some 2,000 digital img may go into the making of a finished piece. Tiger explores a wide spectrum of materials: archival art paper, laser paper, plastics, resins, colored inks and black and white sand, to name a few.

Working under hot lights in a bathroom of her home (which her unique methods regularly destroy!) Tiger submerges the piece under running water in a bathtub of paints. The water dictates and shifts the movement of the image. As the abstract form emerges, she continues photographing. Tiger keeps repeating the process of adding textures, manipulating and photographing the changing image until she is satisfied with the effect.

The paintings, which ranges in size from 17" x 30" to 44" x 70," are then mounted on wood panel and lacquered. To complete the process and create a "meaty" experience for the viewer, Tiger adds layers of pumice, sand, gels and glosses.

The mixed media paintings that Tiger produces in unlimited editions are produced in New York City on a large format printer to ensure their high quality.
