Tiger Gomez (b. 1969) is an American artist raised on the east coast of Florida where she is currently based. She creates mixed media paintings whose complex layerings employ natural substances such as sand and running water along with photography and computer generated effects. Elements of nature, from the calm to the cataclysmic, are melded with her personal icons and appear to float within a mist of liquified color and water droplets. The viewer enters a dreamlike dimension where nature, technology and spirituality converge.

The paintings evolved from Tiger's early work in front of the lens as a model, her studies at the Art Center in Los Angeles and some two decades as a photographer in the fashion and beauty industries internationally. Her fashion photographs became the foundation of many of her art works when she began reworking their Polaroid emulsions, adding unusual textures, materials and techniques.

Tiger has held one-woman shows in northeast Florida art galleries and her paintings and private commissions can be found in the private collections of business entrepreneurs around the world.
